01What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so that it can recognise your browser on the next request. Local storage and session storage are similar mechanisms built into modern browsers that allow a site to keep settings on your device. This Policy covers all of these technologies used by darsly.uz, the Darsly learning platform and the web version of related services. The mobile applications use equivalent on-device storage, to which this Policy applies by analogy.
02How we use them
- Strictly necessary: to keep you signed in, to secure your session and to make registration, password reset and payments work. These cannot be switched off while you use the Services.
- Preferences: to remember your interface language and similar settings.
- Functional: to remember your place in a course, your learning preferences and whether you enabled push notifications in this browser.
- Analytics: we currently do not use third-party analytics cookies. We measure how the Services are used through our own server-side statistics, which do not rely on cookies. If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
- Advertising: we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

04Third-party services
Some pages embed or redirect to services of other companies that may set their own cookies under their own policies: video players for lesson previews (for example YouTube), the payment pages of Click and Payme during checkout, Google and Apple sign-in pages if you choose those sign-in methods, and Firebase Cloud Messaging if you enable push notifications. Darsly does not control these cookies; please refer to the privacy policies of those providers.
05Push notifications
If you allow notifications in your browser or in the app, Darsly stores a device identifier so that it can send you messages about lessons, mentor replies and important account events. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser or device settings or in the app; the identifier is then deactivated.
06Managing cookies
You can view, delete and block cookies and site data through your browser settings (usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using purchased courses; deleting local storage will reset your language and course preferences, which you can set again. Instructions for common browsers are available on the websites of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
07Changes to this policy
We update this Policy when the cookies or storage entries used by the Services change. The current version, with the date of the last revision, is always published on this page.
